LEFTOVER: FROM SICILY WITH LOVE!

La ultima vez que fuimos en Turín estuvimos en ORSO - Laboratorio Caffè. Allí tomamos un café óptimo y además nos fijamos en algunos de los taburetes y mesas del local. Nos contaron que los hacía un artista suizo afincado en Palermo.
Estuvimos investigando y descubrimos, con inmenso placer, un universo de piezas de mobiliario verdaderamente interesante: LEFTOVER.
LEFTOVER  es el proyecto del diseñador Alfred von Escher de Zurich y de la brand strategist Raffaella Guidobono de Milan.
LEFTOVER es una línea de muebles fabricados a medida, realizados con maderas recicladas, personalizados, hechos a mano y terminados con resinas de colores derivados de pigmentos naturales.
La pareja vive y trabaja en un espectacular palacio de siglo XVI del centro histórico de Palermo, transformado en un espacio creativo y experimental.

The last time we went to Turin we visited ORSO- Caffè Laboratory. There, we had a very good coffee and we also were interested of some of the stools and tables. We were told that furniture was made by a Swiss artist who lives in Palermo.
We researched, and, with great pleasure, we found a world of really interesting pieces of furniture: LEFTOVER.
LEFTOVER is the project by the designer Alfred von Escher from Zurich and the brand strategist Raffaella Guidobono from Milan.
LEFTOVER is a bespoke furniture line showcasing recycling wooden materials,with custom-made pieces hand finished with pastel coloured resins derived from natural pigments. 
The couple lives and works in a spectacular palace of XVI century, in the historic center of Palermo, transformed into a creative and experimental space.
