NIMIO presenta THE WALRUS FAMILY, la familia de morsas: dos taburetes de distinto tamaño y una mesa para niños que aúnan en un mismo diseño una forma sólida, alegre y abstracta, que estimulan la imaginación de los pequeños.

THE WALRUS FAMILY es nuestro particular homenaje a este curioso animal semiacuático que vive en las heladas aguas del Ártico y que adora la interacción social y la unión con sus congéneres. Rodeamos a los niños de esta simpática familia que les sumerge en el fabuloso mundo marino.

Compuesta por dos taburetes y una mesa fabricados de manera artesanal en madera de abedul, cada cara está pintada con un azul diferente como diferente es el color del mar en cada instante.

La familia está compuesta por:

THE WALRUS TABLE, la madre.

THE WALRUS FAMILY is the family of walruses by NIMIO: two stools and a table for children combining kids imagination with a solid, happy and abstract shape.

Walruses are semi-aquatic mammals that live in the icy waters of the Arctic. There are three subspecies: the Atlantic walrus, the Pacific and the Laptev Sea walrus. They feed in the water, dive to depths of 90m and are able to stay half an hour underwater. They spend half of their time on the ice and annually migrate distances of about 3000 km.

Walruses crave social interaction and being close to each other.

THE WALRUS FAMILY is the homage by NIMIO to this curious animal: children will be immersed in a fabulous marine world.

Two stools and a table handcrafted with birch wood. Each face is painted with a different blue or green as different is the color of the sea at all times.
